living to the fullest. looking at the world from the highest point in alaska. sitting watching life in the swamp. grabbing sun rays in st augistine fla. walking a road in a town ive never been to before. collecting memories on video in places of people just living ,working..enjoying life. telling my adventures in the army around a camp fire to young ones who have desire but no one to help them in directions. I was diagnosised with a rare form of cancer in November 2005 called "Leiomyosarcom of the vena cava" they removed my right kidney and part of my vena cava. In sept. 2009 my cancer came back, this time they have to remove my vena cava and my renal vein & replace both with gorte, which meant they have to take out my only kidney and replant it back in with the gortex. I Knew I would be fine, it's all part of the plan, God's plan. Everyday I wake up with a song in my heart because I am j.k. livin !

j.k. livin inspired my life after the tragic death of my big brother and my very best friend, Charlie Blue. He was only 30 and passed away after an auto accident last Labor Day. This year has been the hardest year, yet the most inspiring year of my life. Needless to say anything I had ever been through was nothing compared to the journey that I was set to face the moment I found out my brother was no longer here on this earth with me. Growing up In West Virginia, he lived his life Whitewater rafting down the New River, he was the funniest, most down to earth, take your shoes off and let’s play some good music kind of guy. Losing him was one thing that I couldn't control, but losing myself was something I could control. I refused to let myself go during this loss. j.k livin came into my life just then, my brother always used the term "l.i.v.i.n" after Matthew Mcconaughey in Dazed and Confused. After he passed a friend of ours told me how my brother admired the j.k livin foundation. So with the loss of my brother, j.k livin and my determination to just keep livin...here I am livin my life to the fullest for him! I was inspired through this tragedy about what life was truly about and what was really important. With him only being 30, there was so much more life he should have lived, with that being said I don’t have time to be depressed over losing him, because if he were here I can rest assure he would just keep livin for me! Having good times with good people and being surrounded by the ones you love are what matters most in life. When you are faced with life's challenges you just gotta let the good times roll and live life like you've never lived it before! In memory of my brother and this foundation I use the term "CblueLivin" to keep his name alive. I love j.k livin and everything it represents!

Well I would have to say I really admire you, Matthew McConaughey. I first met you when you were finishing up with your film, SAHARA; as you did do some traveling and you made one VERY important stop; which would be, at Robins AFB in Warner Robins, GA. Not only did I get to meet you, but I got to learn/realize what a wonderful/down to earth person you are. You took time to talk to not only me but MANY other troops; but you did sign my BDU cap as well. A plus side to that, our picture just happened to end up on the front page of the Macon Telegraph as well as the Houston Chronicle. I then began to look at my BDU cap a bit more often where you had signed it and I saw so much more! I really saw even more of you, especially when I read about what it was behind the meaning of j.k. livin, which again you had put on my BDU cap. And ever since then I have truly respected you even more then I did before. You gave me so much strength from your story; I felt as if I was reading your story and it hit home so very close; I felt as if I was reading it, and it was too, about the passing of my own father. You truly said it all in your story.. And I am a firm believer.. And I will ALWAYS LOOK UP TO YOU; as you know how it is to have a Father pass on.. It is something you just don't get over... Not EVER! And not even time cures those so very deep and painful wounds... But one thing we do have and will ALWAYS have is the GREAT MEMORIES and to ALWAYS j.k. livin(Thanks to You!) and make OUR FATHERS/HEROS PROUD! xo, Niko

j.k. livin means exactly what it says. I am 37 years old and I often tell those in my life to "keep livin". Livin life in truth and humbleness will show you so many things that one person could never totally explain. I find myself in every adjective or description defined in life. I am so thankful to God, though, that my ups and downs are the evidence that I just keep livin.
